don't be nervous, the work is really easy in 1st year and everyone makes loads of friends because everyone is in the same situation, if you go there with an open mind and chat to as many people as possible you'll have a great time. The only way you can not enjoy uni is if you stay in your room all day and night and aren't prepared to make friends, so just socialise and you'll have loads of fun!

You are bound to be nervous, but its a very exciting time. I started my degree when I was 21 but I was still nervous about leaving home I'm hoping to go back to Uni next year and I will be 28 and although I cant wait I'm still nervous. But it's great I was lucky enough to get into Bath last time around and I had all my stuff in my parents car who very kindly drove me there. As soon as they left I met this other girl from the room next door and we went exploring and found the bar It took me about 2 days to start unpacking my stuff (lol). I then transferred from Bath to Falmouth and made great friends there as well. Just don't forget to study every so often and you will be fine the first few days are the hardest but once you settle into your course and meet your class mates you will be fine. Good Luck.

I believe every normal person will be nervous. It is an important turning point in our lives. If you dream to be a doctor, this is the chance to live your dream. You grow up as an adult, and learn to take care of yourselves. You are away from home, and learning many new things in school and in life. It is a very exciting experience, and you are 100% sure you want to do everything right and get the money worth. So you can see, there are so many thing to be excited and nervous about.
Nonetheless, live life to the fullest, enjoy college.
Good luck.

Don't be nervous, it's all a bit strange to begin with, but remember, everyone is in the same boat. The thing I remember most about the first year is that there was an awful lot of lust in the air.lol
