for the past 4 or 5 days i've been bloated, especially in my lower abdomen. for awhile it felt like i was getting my period (cramping, bloating, etc), but i dont get my period anymore due to my extremely horrible diet (basically, just lettuce with dressing, salt and pepper, and alittle but of parmasean cheese--- yes, i know this is horrible). i've gained 2 pounds due to my bloating, and in the first 2 or 3 days i would bloat up and then when i would "poop" id feel less bloated. now i just feel bloated and its harder for me to poop. i usually take gas medicine, but i dont think its working. however, the other day when i took ibiprofen for my cramps, i didnt seem to bloat as much.

does anyone know whats going on or how i can stop being bloated and gassy?

Your body is all screwed up because of your diet. You need to eat a well-balanced diet, your life depends on it. Your intestines need B-vitamins, proteins, healthy fats/oils, fiber, calcium and lots of water in order to function properly. Your diet isn't providing any of this! Your body is telling you it has had enough of your abuse and it doesn't deserve the abuse! It needs some fruit, vegetables, grains, meat, milk, yogurt, some pizza, it would even love a doughnut. This will help your bloatiness and gassiness. You could also use some anti-depressants prescribed by your doctor.

My sister is a true cook and she told me that eating the veggie thing creates gas. It has to break down and then this turns into what is known as methane gas. So you need to change your diet plan some. It is funny in a way they go around telling people to eat more veggies and less meat, then they tell you to eat more meat. Well both are creating a huge back log of gas. One has to fix the other. When I was stationed ACS in the far east they eat lots of sea food and garden stuff, yet they had more trouble with intestinal things. Your body needs different enzymes in order to function correctly.
Not to compare but lets compare something. A car runs great on 87%gas runs better on the 93% hotter yes they cost different. now it has been on the 93 for since you bought it and you have less money so you cut back to the 87, low and behold it begins to knock and sputer, Keeps running when you turn off the key. Get the picture, you don't have to do the Al Gore thing.

Im sorry to say but I think your diet is playing a huge part in your problem. Your system needs food to function properly and without this you will get problems. No one can survive on lettuce, if eating is a problem for you, i do sympathise but please get some medical help, this is not normal

You may be constupated. talk to your doctor. and a diet can't effect whether you get your period at all.

also, eat something other than lettuce and cheese

go to your doctor and explain whats going on.
Digestive disorder is a possibility.
There must be a reason you are eating such a restricted diet.
bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea/constipation and rash with a low grade fever suggests colitis.
Get it checked out.
