I read this yesterday and was horrified.
It was a racial crime if what the media says is true that they were calling her the N word continuously and hating her for her skin color.
It is disgusting but i too admire her for getting this out into the publics eyes and raising awareness on those freaks.
Can you believe because i can't that they have been in trouble with the law 108 times since the early 1990's. I mean, what posseses a judge to say, nah, it's okay, go back home.
I hope that judge that let them go sees this story and feels sorrow and guilt for not doing something to keep them from our society.
As far as torturing them, waste of time and energy.
A bullet between the eyes is quick, simple, it's over with.
We don't need those kinds of people on our streets!
Disgusting

My family went to school with a couple of the young people and we live really near them! We know of almost all of the things that they have done..the 2 brewsters have murdered before!!! bobby brewsters brother is in jail for raping an 8 yr old girl! The whole family is screwed up and the other people are also! George messer used to live below me and I used to see him out all over the place. They are all creepy and weird and everything else bad you can think of! I couldnt believe something this horrible could happen around here! I hope they burn in hell! I also hope they get tortured in jail! Which they most likely will! I just hope people dont judge logan county or west virginia for what these monsters have done! I am shocked and outraged that some one can do this to another human being! These ppl should have been and stayed in jail a long time ago! They are murderers and drugies and deserve the worst that can be gave to them! They will have to anwser to god! I will keep megan(victim) in my prayers and I hope everybody else will to.......... I forgot to say that I heard on the radio this morning that they think that bobby and megan were in a relationship prior to this. They are also looking for 2 more suspects that may have brought her here or she might have been here for a while.. they are still investigating. Bobby was underage when he killed his father so they sentenced him to juvie untill he was of age. Horrible I know and he and all of them have been in loads of trouble since. He is also involved in a recient stabbing! There is so much more to these ppl than can be put into words on here! We know them and have NEVER liked them! EVER!!! I hope they get charged with a hate crime plus everything else because I heard that will be and even bigger punishment!

The bail for these "people" is only 100,000 each. ONLY 100,000!!! Bail was set for 500,000 each for the men who recently raped an unconscious woman in a back alley the other day. She was drunk and was let out at a bus stop to go home. Then taken in a back alley and raped.
But the victim in that situation there was not black. And the criminals were not white. I think this is cold hard evidence that racism is alive and well in our beloved USA.
But beyond the color line, why aren't men AND women outraged about this kind of news? It doesn't matter what color you are, you either came from or are a woman. Women are being raped all over the country and the world, so much so that rape may as well be legal. And should a woman desire to have independence from an abusive man, she is lucky if he doesn't end her life. END HER LIFE. Are we humans or barbarians?
If you aren't outraged you aren't paying attention. The men and women of this world put silence out there that is the equivalent of saying "We have no power to change this mess". Well, we do. We can stop sexist jokes in their tracks, we can defend the equality of men and women to live safe, violent-free lives and we do not make FALSE ALLEGATIONS about rape or sexual assault. To do so is a injustice against all those who have lived it and are not believed.

There are six people accused of doing these horrible things to this young woman. One was a guy the victim was allegedly dating, another was his mother, and there was a mother-daughter pair taking part in the torture. It's between the six of the perps that they have 108 incidents with the police since about 1991.
I heard the reason prosecutors are handling the case the way they are (hate crimes are an option, but not yet being used) is they are going for the harshest penalties possible for these people. If they are found guilty, I hope the only way they leave prison is in a pine box.
Supposedly the woman is developmentally disabled and trusted people--maybe too much.

Sounds like a regular Friday night party in San Francisco.
I agree with you, the perpetrators of this deserve nothing more than to be treated in kind. Maybe they should have to spend a year or two as Michael Vick's dogs.

The only thing that may be able to compare to the ignorance of these animalistic idiots, (with apologies to all God's other animals) is the ignorance of those that would help these pigs (again apologies) by letting them escape the harsher penalties that are mandatory with the "hate crime" nomenclature. Stop enabling people like this to get released on bail! Wake Up!

The news media really did a good job covering this. I am with you all the way. It is hard to believe that a human/person could do something like what happened to this poor young lady. The punishment they receive will certainly not be enough to pay for what they did.

steve T ... very funny answer.
This news story sounds unpleasant, there is no need to do that kind of thing to others, I think a quick death is too good for them, they should be forced to eat black mens poo and get raped.

i have read alot about this story. while terrible acts were commited against this woman, i really dont think that it was a hate crime. she was dating one of the guys that did this to her. he had also been arrested for domestic abuse against this woman before. i dont know why she would ever be around that person again. besides, all of those people look rather scary. i think they were calling her the n-word because they are stupid. i hope that she recovers and that she receives any help that she needs mentally and physically to aid in the her recovery.
