Hi
Small problem with my gmail account. I frequently check personal emails in office and the password to my gmail account is stored on to my office pc i.e when i type my login name the password appears on its own.

How do i delete or 'unsave' the password so that my mail account is not accessed by anyone else acessing gmail through my pc.

Thank You !!

you might have saved the password in IE (if that is the browser you are using). In that case, go to tools ->options->privacy and remove all passwords from there. The same thing applies for firefox if you are using firefox.

password problem? I did not change my password from the day i created my yahoo account 3 years ago.But i got a notification to my alternate email that my password has been changed recently.I give my personal details very accurately to get a new password after this problem, but i couldnot get it.I gave the same information to retrieve my yahoo id (i did so,just to check my personal details are correct or not)and I got it(yahoo id) in my alternate mail,so the personal informations are correct. But I am not able to get my new password.I am very desperate as i have many valuble information stored in my yahoo mails.I need to access those mails. i tried a lot with yahoo help and customer care.,till now ,not satisfied with its answers. Please help me.

If its Internet Explorer, updated to the latest, go to Tools, click Delete Browsing History and click "remove saved passwords.' This will also remove all other saved passwords in IE.

Just hit logout in GMail and that should clear the cookie. If not, then go to Tools > Internet Options and then look for the delete cookies and history.

Go to your account, there is an option there to change your password. Change it. log back on using new password and don't check the save password option. Then repeat the whole thing using your old password if you so wish. If someone knows an easier way, please add it here! I'd like to know it too.

You need to uncheck the box that says "Save Password", either that or sign out of Gmail when you go to it and uncheck the box.

go to your account and change the settings to type in password at every sign in. And always be sure to sign out when finished.
