Why did it happen, as the public, we will never, well not in our life time, know exactly what happened, but in due time all will come to light. No it was not fair to the common folk, because they were the ones that took the biggest hit and who are still seeing ramifications from the terrorist attack, this will linger for years. God Bless.

Well, life isn't fair. It's grossly unfair that over 3,700 men and women have died in Iraq due to an egomaniac who had to "finish" the job his father started. It's grossly unfair that tens of thousands of civilians in Iraq have died as a result of this invasion and many more who suffered under one dictator and now suffer with the chaos of a country torn apart. It's unfair that the architect of this attack is a free man, probably in Pakistan, assuming he's still alive.

Guess what? LIFE ISN'T FAIR!

Our foreign policy and our intereference in the Middle East buys us a lot of enemies. Our government training the men in Afghanistan to help them kick out the invading Soviets has really come back to bite us in the keister.

When is death ever fair to love ones?

It was an attack on the USA's financial and military headquarters. The civilian deaths were only collateral damage in the terrorist's eyes.
