hey, I no how you feel, I have pcos and I'm also ttc#1, I've been trying for 4 years now about to be 5 years next month, I found out I have pcos in April of this year, I have been on clomid 50 mg for 2 cycles and 100mg for one, my cycle are still ireguler, so that means am not ovulatin on clomid, now I am on metformin my dr perscribe them to me, I also had 5 pills call provera to jump start my period, try asking your gyno about metformin, it is a good drug that helps your period to regulate and helps you to ovulate, having pcos doesn't means u can't have a baby but it just means it'll be a lil harder for you to conceive, so just keep the faith and keep your head up, because we are here to help you get threw this

I have PCOS as well and am 25 weeks pregnant with my third. It is certaintly not impossible to become pregnant. My husband and I had been trying for almost 2 years before I was finally diagnosed with PCOS. I went to my ob/gyn and she put me on Metformin. It helped regulate my insulin levels, which in turn regulated my hormone levels and forced a normal ovulation on me. I also lost 30 pounds. If you are overweight, sometimes just dropping some weight will significantly improve your chances of conceiving.
Don't give up hope! When the timing is right, you too will have your bundle of joy!

Well, you can get pregnant, but you need to see a fertility specialist. Since you do not ovulate on your own your doctor will probably prescribe you clomid. Most women will usually get pregnant within six months after starting it. You need to get off the birth control, that will not help your problem and it sounds like to me, you need to find a different doctor. One that cares about your needs and who will treat your disease, not just the symptoms. Taking birth control so you have a period, when you have pcos is like putting a band aid on a gunshot wound. It may hide the wound or the symptoms but the problem isn't going to go away or get better until you are treated right.

Oh most definitely. Are you seeing a general practioner, or an OBGYN? Going on the pill is a treatment for PCOS, but of course that is only good to use when you are not trying to conceive!! I have PCOS as well, and am currently taking Clomid to force me to ovulate each month. It has worked for me as far as ovulating each month, and having a regular cycle. Just no pregnancy yet, aside from a chemical pregnancy the first month I took Clomid.
I would reccommend seeing either an OBGYN or a fertility specialist about TTC and PCOS. Talk to them about Clomid,. I also took Provera my first month to force my period so I could start a new cycle. It is worth mentioning that as well.
Good luck, and plenty of women conceive that have PCOS so you definitely have a chance at conceiving!!!!
Lots of baby dust to you!!!

Yes, there is still hope for you to have a baby =)
No if you are TTC you should not be taking the pill, I would go get a second opinion and go see a OB or fertility specialist this time don't mess around with family dr.
I would ask them about a fertility drug called Clomid. I also took Provera to induce my first period now I get them on my own every 28 days and take the Clomid to induce ovulation to TTC.
Good luck to you and lots of baby dust************

The simple answer is yes. There is something you can take you have to take clomid which will make you ovulate.
My sister in law has had three children and has pcos. You should lose weight first as you wont need the drugs and your period will come back normally. I know but how badly do you want a baby? My sister in law has gotten bigger with each baby and has had gestational diabetes with each of them!
She is now very sick.
Best of luck to you.

Now everyone can cure infertility using this natural remedy http://pregnancyhelps.info
infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.
If infertility is caused by genetic disorder then it's not unusual that one of the kids (your mom) doesn't have it and another does (your aunt).
two months of trying is still to early to be concerned about the fact that you might be infertile and it's also quite early to go to a fertility specialist. Go to a regular Obgyb to get a closer insight and see what ways there are are to improve your fertility rate.
Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility.

hello am 22 have pcos and been trying for 4 years but only found out three years ago. i spoke to my doctor and he refered me to a gynecologist and decided i could not have children unless i get treated. have been to a fertility clinic for two years and still nothing is happening. I have had clomid half worked but to late on the cycle and tried tamoxifen still nothing put me on metamorfin had really bad side effects had to come off them and they are putting me back on clomid again. You need to see your gynecologist fast cos like me am still going and you don't know how long it could take there is lucky women out there that fall pregnant on the first treatment and you could be that one but please see someone to start your treatment and have a read up on the pills i have told ya about it will make ya feel better about the situation but please do not go on the pill cos it will NOT get u pregnant.

When you can't get pregnant, and things look good from the outside, it can be extremely frustrating.
The first thing to consider is how long have you been trying. About 80% of couples will get pregnant after six months of trying, and about 90% will be pregnant after 12 months of trying to get pregnant. Anyway this is a great methid to get pregnant fast https://tr.im/f87e9
