I think it is because you can let your hair down and have a good drink and not have worry about the fact that your gf might not be having a good time or she might be bored. Then there's the worry if she pops to the bar/toilet has some **** started a fight.
Anyway from a girlie's point of view i think its healthy for couples to go out with their own friends once in a while. Anyway you prob do enjoy yourself when she is there just in a different way.

Thats not quite a true fact, many blokes havea much better time out when there with women, Like myself, but blokes should have an equal different type of fun when ur out with ur girl, or with ur best mates, with your mates I'm sure they just have fun, get pissed, and just act plain stupid and careless, but when your with your girl, you just feel real happy, comfortable, and loved. witch in my option is alot better than going out with your mates :)

Perhaps it's because you can relax with your mates knowing you don't have to try and get off with anyone as you have a perfectly good girlfriend who is out with her mates too and maybe there's an aspect of selfishness in there - you don't have to look out for anyone else - you can have a laugh without worrying if your missus is sat there bored.

Because they don't smell of desperacy! Its the same with women, the minute we get in a relationship men swarm us like flies...but when your single its as though somehow it says "I'm trying to pull" straight across your forehead in neon!!!

i mean if you goin out to a bar or club, where mostly single people are i think its more fun to go alone. that dont mean you cheating tho. I had fun goin out with my girl tho. Back when I had one :)
