if Vera Lynn ever made a record of this song as according to the quiz master, at the quizz night i went to recently, the record he played he said was Vera Lynns voice i said it was Ruby Murray i cannot find any thing on the net to say other wise does any one know if Vera Lynn made a record of this song??

If you go to the AMG website and type in "Softly Softly" it will give you a list of people who recorded it. Vera Lynn isn't there so it looks like you're right!
