What plants native to the TN region do you like/find grow well.... Moved from MO and not all of the same ones do well of course... I know I can look at lists but wanted peoples opinions as to some of the plants down here not to miss for garden lovers...

Our best crop is WEEDs, and more weeds, lol, we have hosta,s any thing from the north will grow like mad down here, brought an apple tree from indiana, it said it would grow 6 inches a yr, well it grew 11/2 ft a yr, or more, it is 3 yrs old was 4 ft tall now is over 10 ft tall, all types of flowers,
