Computer security,what does it mean when I am in yahoo mail and I hear a click and see yellow with red hand ?

What does this mean ? does it just mean a popup is being blocked, I don't get it because it didn't used to do this ?

The sound that you hear is the Pop up blocker trigger, for example when you're surfing the net there are some sites that promote things with (the annoying) Pop-up windows, the popo-up blocker just blocks them so your browsing experience is more efficient and safe of course because some of these Pop-ups take you to malware sites causing your computer to be infected with some kind of virus or trojan.

Yahoo! offers the service of improved security by checking your ID every 10 or 20 minutes (maybe more time) so no one logs in with your account without notifying you first.
