Call someone else to drive you to the hospital if he is not near by. Congratulations and good luck in the delivery room.

you have up to an hour or so to get to the hospital if your husband isnt home from an hour of when ur water broke then go to next door and ask for a ride to the hospital or call for help. You could get an infection after that.

You gotta be kidding right? How effin stupid must you be to log on to yahoo and ask stranger a simple question?! USE COMMON SENSE!! CALL SOMEONE ELSE.

You don't need to get there right away. You probably have about an hour or so before you have the baby. So if he gets off soon the just wait. If not, then just go.

CALL AN AMBULANCE IF YOU HAVE NO ONE ELSE TO TAKE YOU TO THE HOSPITAL.

Congrats on the new baby and try to use common sense in the future. It can really help you to not waste time during an emergency.

Is he on the way home? Will he be home in the next 1/2 hour? Then just wait for him to get there to take you. If he's going to be more than an hour - I would call an ambulance or neighbor or something and get to the hospital. He can meet you there.

Jeez people - there is no "high risk" for infection in the next couple hours. If there are no contractions every 3 minutes, there is no danger of the baby coming in the next couple hours.

Call him and find a ride to the hospital if you can't get there on your own. If you haven't dilated far and your contractions haven't started yet, then it's not an emergency. You'll make it in time to have the baby. Relax... shower... eat something if you're hungry and then make sure you've got everything and head to the hospital. Best of luck to you!

You baby will be here within the next 24 hours! How exciting!

♥ Wow.... everyone is a little jumpy... I hope they weren't/wont be all this paniced. Time your contractions and then call your hubby at work [[or a relative you lives close]] and alert them that your water broke & let them know how far your contractions are apart. Then call the doctor and let him/her know as well. Breathe, stay calm & soon you'll have a beautiful baby! Congratulations and Good Luck! :-)

You need to waste as much time as you can here on the computer asking questions since you most likely didnt pay attention in birthing class. Hopefully the child will sneak out while you are asking questions and find intelligent life.

Call hubby at work, if you're not in that much pain and it's not far - drive yourself. If you are - call a close friend, relative or neighbor, if that isn't an option - call an ambulance.
Hope your bags are packed!
Good luck!

Calm Down, try to call you husband at work, if he is not there and explain what happened to his boss, he will find him. Call a friend, family, or neighbor as a back-up. Somehow get to the Hospital ER ASAP. Don't hesitate to call 911 if you need to.

Well, judging by your other questions, it seems as if your water broke 23 minutes after you found out you got pregnant.
I highly doubt that if your water broke you would have time to log-on to Yahoo! Answers and ask this question.

This is obviously spam.
