Take your prenatal vitamins - drink 8 - 8oz glasses of water a day

Whole grains breads and cereals
Dairy products milk, cheese, yogurt
Fresh fruits and Veggies
Lean meat - and eggs

Lower fat - lower carb foods are great as well - control blood sugar levels and how much weight you gain.

Also make sure you are exercising - walking for sure.

Good luck

when I was pregnant I ate TOTAL cereal! I read the box and it was loaded with great vitamins and minerals that I have a hard time getting from food. Now it has been almost 6 years since I have been pregnant so there may be a better cereal now that has more. But I really like the taste I would add a banana and a teaspoon of sugar and it was my favorite meal of the day, because I knew that my baby was just being bombarded with healthy stuff! LOL Also with that meal I would have a glass of juice and I switched it out because after a while they stated giving me heartburn, I ended up only being able to drink mango juice it was the only one that didn't set me on fire later! GOOD LUCK with the baby

My doctor told me to avoid eating large fish because of dangers of Mercury poisoning. Big fish eat smaller fish and are more likely to have higher amounts of mercury in them.

Other than that, I'd stick with what you know are healthy foods. Veggies, fruits, dairy, etc.

A well balanced diet of protein, carbs, veggies, fruit. Drink plenty of water. If you are having nausea, avoid foods that trigger this and eat what sounds good. AVOID fast food and processed foods as much as possible. It is garbage.

right now...eat a lot of healthy carbs....like whole grains and fruits and veggies.

Try to eat some meat....healthy fish, etc.

Milk ....very important to get calcium

in a few weeks, you may not feel like eating, so eat now while you can.
