It was on cbbc, and was set in the victorian times i think, and a brother and sister used to go to this sand pit and this little guy used to come out of the sand and grant them wishes? its bugging me badly man cos that little freak was in my dream last night. I think it was him or maybe the weird looking guy in labyrinth, please help ppl?

The programme was the TV version of the book "Five Children and It" by E. Nesbitt who also wrote the Railway Children.

The books are really good.

yes i agree with everyone else 5 children and it, you can get the film on dvd. Also the wierd looking guy in labyrinth- do you mean David Bowie?

i saw a film called 5 children and it an it was about a sand fairy who was a furry creature with a shell on it's back that granted temporary wishes, good film, hope this helps.
