Your doctor is right and you did the right thing by calling him. You might also want to watch your son for stomach pain, constipation and/or diarrhea. Just calm down and watch him for signs of discomfort like you usually do.
Odds are he will digest this with few problems, and it won't have any lasting effects. So don't worry too much.

no worries! i did the whole veggie circuit then the fruit circuit. I went in for my 6 month checkup and she says oh and no red berries huh! you told me fruits so anythign that was babyfood that said fruit i tried. she said oh great then I guess he isnt allergic :). you may as well do the mango for 2 more days and so that way you can rule out the allergy. if you do each thing for 3 days you are fine. Im not sure as to why the dr would say if hes vomiting? hm that seems odd. I guess just cause its intended for a 12 month old.. my dr said try cheese and turkey when he has t teeh but he isnt ready so I just hold off . Many things are just a general guideline. if your baby seems fine then he is. if not certainly proceed to get care
be well

We all make these kind of mistakes as a mom--give yourself a break. As long as the baby is acting ok, try not to worry (if possible).
You called your doctor & are keeping an eye on the baby. You are obviously a good & responsible mom for worrying so much about this. I think everything is going to be ok.
Congratulations on your baby!

Is natural you are worry, but don´t panic. If the baby swallowed the fruits without chocking he is OK. At that age my baby was a lover of diced mango and apple and even he is allergic to strawberries and eggs he never had troubles with other fruits. Just relax and wait if he have rash.

Please do not be too worried, a few of the ladies from my mothers group were feeding their 6 month old babies the 12 month food because the babies liked it chunkier. I really doubt it makes much difference, the calories might be a little higher and the food a bit chunkier but if he managed to eat it ok he should be fine. In many countries babies are fed what their parents eat as soon as they start on solids, not everyone goes by the recommendations.

If your baby seems fine, as they say "no harm no foul." But I would wait until he's 12 months for the second cup. First time mom's tend to worry too much.

You will be fine as long as he does not have allergies. If he does not vomit or loose his appetite you will be fine. As mothers we so often forget that hundreds of years ago society did not have all of the special foods we have today, and many countries still do not have it, and children continue to grow and thrive! You will be fine :-)! Good luck!

I agree with your doctor. The only reason he said that is because any child can have allergies to food so just follow doctors orders.Make yourself a cuppa tea and relax. The baby would be showing signs of sickness by now if bub was going to be sick.
