my most recent oprah cry was the episode she gave everyone in her audience $1000 & they had to give it away to perfect strangers. some of the people really needed the $$$. it restores your faith in humanity. I BALLED LIKE A BABY!!!

Not much of a movie crier. Might if I'm already blue. West Side Story, Imitation of Life, and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon have done it for me. However, the only movie to make me shed more than a tear or two is In The Time of The Butterflies (based on a book that is a fictional account of the lives of a real family). That one had me all torn up. I cried for half and hour at least. Something about the tragedy being factual I guess. The book, by the way, is truly beautiful, my favorite book really (and that's saying something).

i would never cry over a film in public. if i was on my own and the film was worth it i might.
it's a wonderful life made me cry
old films like shane and an affair to remember make me get a lump in my throat.
and you're gonna hate me for saying this but, in the doomsday episode of dr.who when rose ends up on the other side of the wall in the parallel world it was very emotional especially with the music that was used and yes i did cry, it was very sad.

I have watched nearly every tearjerker there is.
Titanic, Old Yeller, Bambi...you name it.
And not to be macho or anything but I did not even care enough to get a lump in my throat.
The only Movie that has made me cry was Braveheart because the movie was awsome and I really cared about the character and when you care enough about the story youll just cry whether you want to or not.
Oh...and I also cried at Spiderman 3 but that was because they ruined the whole franchise.

Depends if I am alone or around people. If it is a sad movie and others are crying, then maybe I'll cry openly...Definately by myself I cry.
If I know the movie is based on a true story then I am more likely to cry.

It wasn't a film that made me cry the last time, it was that documentary about the man with alzhiemers disease. I cried my heart out over that.
