YES ... who knew what was in store in the future ... and after being the survivor of a short disaster of a marriage (to an abusive, violent sociopath) ... I was ALONE by CHOICE for a couple of decades. However, it seems that God/Fate has a 'twist' in mind because ...
At this point of my life (and I am an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree) ...
I have met a very sweet person who is gentle, kind, caring and loving who goes out of his way to respect and be with me ... and who has brought happiness in my life. STILL at the get acquainted stage .. this is going to be interesting in the next few months ....

I very much believe in miracles. Mostly due to my faith and religion, but outside from that I still do. When I was 14, a doctor told me that something was wrong with my uterus so I'd never have children. When I started to try to get pregnant all my attempts were disasterous. That's the one thing I wanted most in my life and I was devestated because I thought I'd never get to be a mom. But, I am 22 years old now and have 3 wonderful little gems, all born within a year of each other. I was over joyed when I found out I was pregnant with my first baby and I thought she'd be my only one. When she was 9 months old I found out I was pregnant again, then when my second daughter was 6 months old I found out I was pregnant for the third time. My third child is a boy who in himself is a miracle because when I first got pregnant with him, my doctor thought it was an ectopic pregnancy and had scheduled with another doctor for a D&C. Just on a haunch, that doctor ordered an ultrasound minutes before the surgery and found out the baby was in the right spot, that I'd have my third baby after all.
this may not seem so miraculous to some people, but any woman who can't have kids or ever thought they couldn't know how it feel to think you'll not get that chance to bring a life into the world. I'd never wish the feeling on anyone. But to have that feelin, thinking you'll never have kids and then to have 3 within 3 years, yeah, its a miracle!

yes i believe in miracles and i have expierienced many but i will share one that I witnessed.
The day that my baby sister was born, it had been a stormy day. There were gusty winds and heavy rain and tornado watches and warnings all around.
My father and I were in the same room as my mom who was giving birth but both of us turned around and watched the t.v. that was there which was turned to the Weather Channel.
The meteoroligist said that the stormy conditions will continue throughout the evening and into the next day. I looked out the window of the hospital and saw that it was hailing and dark....then when my baby sister was born, all of a sudden, rays of sunlight beamed right through! And the hailing and rain had all stopped..i was so surprised but i was smiling.
The doctors and nurses all said that it was a miracle.
It was a long story but it's the truth. Miracles do happen. =)

I do, but not in a spiritually way.
I believe in the miracles human effort can achieve.
When doctors work hard to save a life or when the fire brigade rescues a child...

Yes. I wish we would have had one and my Mom was still here. The only one's I've ever seen were on TV shows telling about other people's lives.
