i asked this question yesterday and it seems as if there were no brits on...alot of americans saying they havent had them since the 50's...or is the good old milkman truly dying out...x.

D-lol...i wish my milkman would do special deliveries...he's rather lush.x.

Yes we have had deliveries every day except Wed and Sun for the past 12 years.
On one hand the supermarket is cheaper, but on the other we don't want to see the old trade disappear, plus it is there on the doorstep without any effort on your part.

I had a milkman when I lived with my parents, but not now. Quite often buy a pint from the milkman who goes accross the road if I'm short on a Saturday morning and my daughter is demanding cereal at a ridiculous early time!! LOL

Yes I have a milkman he delivers the milk mosts nights around 12.

I do! The hubby thinks I am having an affair, but the milkie is way tooo old for me! I seem to be the only person in the street who uses the milkman.

I have a milkman, nice chap and very relaible. Means I don't need to be running the shop for milk all the time and has the added bonus that the bottles are recycled.

We have a milkman that delivers in our street but I don't personally have it as I don't use milk that often. I buy long life milk and sometimes that goes out of date before I've used it!!!

Yes I do, live in the UK, I have Organic milk which my local doesn't sell so thats why I use a milkman :)

Still getting one on Tuesday and two Friday
Glass may be a thing of the past, and I could buy cheaper from the multi-nationals.....I know the bloke and that he has a family to support - long live the milko!

Yes I have a milkman and so does my mum.
Every morning rain or shine, one silver top and one red.
He knocks every Friday evening for his money too, I think that is so cute.
