Who says it was Christian.
I don't remember seeing Christ mentioned even once in any document used to form our nation.
and the question you should have asked is "ARE the Children Learning?"

Apparently some aren't learning. How old are you?
You should be asking: "Are the children learning?" "Is" goes with a singular noun such as "child", "children" is a plural noun. "Are" should be used with the word "children" in your sentence.
This is grammer that is learned in the 5th. grade. There are numerous grammatical errors in your paragraph and it has nothing to do with evolvement from monkeys...and no, I am not "wif" you.
If you are still in school, you need to spend some more time studying and not be here on "YAHOO ANSWERS" as much. If you have gone past high school already, head to the nearest adult learing center. You do come across as ignorant by the way you type, it may be that you are not, but how you write is a direct reflection of your intelligence.
This will enable you to communicate in a more clear and concise manner, so that you are able to get your point across.
Why it is that people seem to be writing more and more like you have done here (with alarming regularity), would be a better question.
Is it due to laziness by the teacher...or student, or both?

The question would be "Are the children learning?"
Moral values are instilled in the classroom EVERY day!!!!!!!!!!! I spend a great deal of my energy making sure my students are respectful, thoughtful, and well behaved. They do not get that support and attention at home.
Moral values are NOT instilled in the homes!!!!!!!!!!
We also need more teacher and schools. I currrently have 42 second grade students in my class. They do not always get the amount of one-on-one time that they need. I keep the ones who are really struggling in for lunch and I tutor them - on my time.
Stop blaming the educational system and start blaming the parents who are not rearing their children properly and the system that fails these children on a daily basis. Why dooesn't the system truly help them? It keeps the status quo. Keep the rich man rich and the poor man poor.

The question should be "Are the children learning?" And to the guy above who asked, "who said it was Christian"? It's in the constitution you see, because America's forefathers were Christians. This is a Christian nation. Even though it has invited a bunch of ungrateful people into it.

If you're an example of the new class rooms, then the answer is: no, the children are not learning.
I would hazard to say that the problem with education starts with the parents and continues in the lack of funding. Parents need to be more involved with their children's education and schools need to be more funded.

You really need to adjust your image if you want to impress me. Wolves are very wary, intelligent creatures who teach family values and respect to their cubs. I will teach the children what schools have forgotten. What will 'monkeyballs' teach them to respect?
