Honestly?
Disney's "The Lion King". Pretty odd, I know.

It's amazing how something, like a children's cartoon, has had such an effect on me. I cannot even imagine how much my life would differ had I not grown attached to this film when I was young. Somehow it has become a huge part of my life and has played a very significant role in it (for as long as I can remember).

I suppose it's difficult to explain it. Alot of people can't understand why this film is so important to me, so I guess you have to live my life before you realize.

You find the most amazing things in the strangest of places. I would be lying if I were to say any other film has changed my life half as much as "The Lion King", and that's why I will always consider it 'my favourite'.

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. This film is just a cinematic masterpiece. With it being one of I think 3 films to get the big 5 Oscars, it shows what the industry thought as well.

Barnstorming performances from Nicholson as Mac; Will Sampson as Chief; Louise Fletcher as Nurse Ratchett, the list goes on and on.

Christopher Lloyd, Danny de Vito, Brad Dourif (Wormtongue in LOTR 2).

Comedy, drama, acting to make your eyes go pop.

I have seen this film dozens of times, and I never tire of it. From heartbreaks to epiphany and euphoria all within a heartbeat. Lines that make your eyes water through laughter, and ensemble pieces that leave you dumbfounded.

Without doubt one of the greatest pieces of celluloid ever made, and even today and possibly all time it serves as a benchmark of a fantastic piece of cinema.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy (maybe one film or three depending on how you look at it). I like it because of it's innovative style and mythical feel. The cinematography, special effects, music, sound effects, story and characters were simply amazing. I've seen a lot of movies and this stands out as being very different and I've been able to connect with it.

The Godfather - after reading the book i didn't think the film could ever be as good but the description of the characters and the way you imagined them were so real i could never have imagined anyone else but Marlin Brando Playing the part of the Don.
