Of course!!! i have been watching it only for about 8 years now. The very first one i seen was DragonBall Z. i just finished Fushigi Yugi yesterday.

Well , is pretty obvious that anime has gotten much more popular recently more than old times any the answer for your question would be "Yes" , so many people now watch cartoon now days i think because the animation technologies are now more advanced than ever , for example I may once was the last person on earth to watch anime but a good work of any kind can never be hated by anyone even if i got mixed with the story of an anime but not the animation it self . So if U don't like anime U can at least give it a shot It won't hurt , try {Death Note} , am sure you will like it .

Are you kidding? Have you looked at the questions over here at 'Comics & Animation'?
These geeks are obsessed with it. They are willing to fight you if you should ever say anything bad about it. Some are attracted to the characters and discuss how 'hot' they are. Some are actually looking for costumes so they can dress up like the characters, those are the total head cases that seriously need some help because there is something missing in their lives, I mean it's cute when they're 10, but some of them are over 20 years old...pathetic.
To answer your question...yes, there are a lot of people who watch anime.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love it recently Death Note. Its in Japanese so i have to read a lot of subtitles but it is totally worth it. Psychotic and so cool. Beats Criminal Mind shows by a million miles lol. Many animes i have watched have been ones that got cancelled and have real bad rushed endings. Black cat is cool. Full Metal Alchemist is very cool but i can only watch one episode a month or so cuz the violence warps my poor mind. Fumofu!!!!(full metal panic) is very cute. i have only seen a couple of episodes but The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is funny. I am always looking for a good anime. Manga is great too (especially the shojo stuff): Vampire Knight, Love For Venus and Fruits Basket are my favourites there. I needa learn Japanese so i can watch/read a larger variety of mangas and animes

sure do although i have to watch it online like on youtube and crunchyroll and animenetwork.net i dont have anime channels on satelite
