edit: As per Reader Digest, unsecured loose items at the back of the car is potentially deadly and could kill a young toddler or children. Even item like a soft toy. Unbelieveable to me....

They same that in an accident loose items and people could become projectile. I usually do not think about it because there isn't anything loose items in my car.

I'm not sure what you're saying, the passengers are unsecured? They can get fined. As for things in your car unsecured, depends on what but yes, I think can be deadly.

Sure it is potentially deadly but not enough to make me change my habits.
Driving in general is more likely to kill me but that does not mean I wont drive.

In Texas and most of US, seatbelt use are required by law and driver is responsible for underaged and adults can be ticketed directly.
