Trust me, reinstall your windows and it will be fixed.
I had the same issue sometimes before and the easiest, fastest and the most effective option is to reinstalling the wondows.
There are some other ways you can handle this and i am sure people after me would mention to all of it , But they work for a short time.( So im not ganna go through them )
Good luck

your answer is yes there are sites out there, this is one of them its not professional but contains people who like to explain things in English, and someone always has the answer
if you are getting this message then something within the system 32 folder is corrupt (broken)
could be fixed in three ways
1)like suggested reinstall windows as this replace the folder with a new copy
2)if you are using XP in the C:\\windows/system32/ folder there is a backup of system32 copy and paste these into the folder (this is what would be described on the Microsoft site, but i dont suggest this one as if you go wrong you may destroy a core folder as you need (you will need to view hidden folders)
3)use a system restore, as long as you have a restore point before this started to happen you can go back to then, this normally works as it will load up the file before it became corrupt and is the most simple method
to use system restore press start>all programs>accessories>system tools> system restore then follow the onscreen instructions
if this does not work i suggest you reinstall windows as its more easy than option 2

Hi
Try removing any software you installed just prior to getting the error.Start in safe mode.
If you can get that far do a system restore for as far back as you can.
Otherwise do a system restore from the recovery disk.
If none of that works you have a hardware error so take it down to p.c. world and they will sort it out for you
good luck

Try running your restore disc this will clear all info of your p.c. so make sure you have all important files backed up make copies of any files you want to keep if this works then run your virus checker and make sure you keep it up to date.
If you dont have a restore disc try downloading stinger you will find this on Mc Afees web site it is a small program that will scan and fix any viris problems that might be on your system.
