HE WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS A GREAT PRESIDENT.

HE HAS A PICTURE ON HIS WALL IN THE OVAL OFFICE. IT IS CALLED A CHARGE TO KEEP.

IT IS PAINTING OF A MAN RIDING A HORSE TAKING A MESSAGE....VERY INTERESTING. HE FEELS THIS IS HIS MISSION ..IN LIFE. I LIKE OUR PRESIDENT.

DO all of you have a 5 minute attention span and memory or what? You say that this is some troop reduction..Bush and the Military said last may that this would be a 30,000 person troop Surge and that it would last 12-15 months. Soooo..guess what? Next Summer will be 15 months and the 30,000 troops will come home just like Bush said last year. Pay attention people this isn't rocket science and its not like this was an encoded message. He said this was the plan word-for-word and play by play last year. There will still be the original 100,000 plus troops in iraq.
and Bush will go down as the WORST President in History.

What planet do you live on..

The reduction of the troops? This was already planned and brings the number back to where it was before the surge. Its not going to happen till next summer.. If the war goes another year another 1,000 will die by Bush's estimates.

Many Republicans are joining in.. Did you hear what Warner asked..."Are we safer today" Betrayus couldn't answer.. Can you imagine being a soldier and the general cant answer if what your doing has any purpose?

Would you go or send your children to go?.. If not your a hypocrite.. If so your an idiot..

Having said that Im not sure if the democrats are capable of doing anything. They haven't got a set of brass ones in the whole group... So you may get your way, 1,000's die for absolutely no reason.. no reason that even the general can think of..

That is making a big assumption, is it not?
I don't see Bush* as best at anything...unless you mean best at being the worst president. We are just reducing troops to pre surge levels and no political solution has been accomplished. I am thinking Democrats are in the process of going TO their places now . The forecast for Republicans is not too bright these days.

Reducing the troops by 30,000 does not show Bush to be the greatest leader ever. It shows him to be the weak ineffectual leader we all know he is. He claimed the surge would take months, instead he is now pleading for a year. Next year when he removes 30,000 troops he is merely rescinding the surge. Not proving himself a great leader. We will simply be back to pre surge troop levels.

Bush the best leader ever?
I thought you voted him for president...

If you want a leader, go back the the kingdom and kneel in front of the queen.

huh?

did you miss the part where Petreaus said he would "begin to decrease the SURGE next year"????

besides... only republicans talk about the loss of thousands of lives as being "good" if it is a reduction from the previous count.

The best What in the What??? Oh my god...anyway, he's a good fella now that he finally accepts defeat in iraq and that the war didn't "end" really when he said it was.

ROLF, good one. What reduction? More, less, he can't make up his mind. He has other people doing that, but nobody with any sense.

You're kidding right.... and I'm certainly not a Democrat. I'm just a guy (who votes mostly Republican) who thinks this president and his administration has been a failure..
