What victory? Bush has trouble garnering a PR victory in the media, much less a political one in Iraq.

If the US were to follow Gen. Patraeus's original plan, then there will not be any significant troop withdrawals until NEXT summer, and those numbers would only result to reverting back to PRE-SURGE levels. Regardless of any potential comprimise the Democrats make, don't expect the troops to leave anytime soon.

all these politicians and their antics - call a spade a spade, man! victory - isnt it a joke? simply say its withdrawal time and move, man. no need to talk abt victory/losing or whatever - just bring them back
