It most certqainly is possible and can be felt easily. A car is not a little thing and as it moves it has to displace the air where it is going. If you are near you can feel this as a gust of air. This holds true for anything moving through the air. the air will have to move out of the way.

You can feel the effects of the air pressure gradient (aka wind) when the cars pass you due to the slip stream. A collision is not necessary.
