Sad as it is to say ....One of my fondest childhood memories was finally beating Bowser and having that precious 5 seconds with the Princess.

The first time I didn't beat it without warps. I eventually beat it without warps but this was after discovering the 3-1 99 lives trick.

Yeah. The first week it came out ('85 I think it was?) I remember getting all excited with my friends when I accidentally found the warp zone to world 4. That was the first game secret I ever found, and from that moment I was hooked on games :)
.. and about Metroid Prime 3, I'm close to finishing and its been awesome so far!

Yup and I can still recall when I did it.
I use to wake up 30 minutes early before school just to have a little game time in. I was right near finishing it when it was time to head to school. I threw a hissy fit wanting to beat the game and my mother gave in letting me finish it and getting to school half an hour late.
Some things never change as I called out of work last week sick so I could finish Metroid Prime 3.

Yes, and I felt the same way. I still think the original SMB is a great game. I still own my old NES, and occasionally play all the SMB games. Except 2, because it stinks.
