13

3*x2=6
3+2=5
1*1=1
13*12=156

14
12
4*2=8
4+2=6
1*1=1
14*12=168

19
12
9*2=18 ,there is an overflow of 1
9+2+1=12, an overflow of 1 again
1*1 +1 =2
19*12=228

There are still plenty shortcuts i have known, you may want to play with numbers and discover it by yourself.

Why not use a calculator? If that is not allowed, read below.

If you need to multiply a number say 234 with 99, you could write that as 234 (100 -1) = 23400 - 234 = 23166

Addition and subtraction are easy compared to multiplication and division.

Multiplication by 11, 22, 33 etc. can be simplified this way:

345 x 11 = 345 (10 + 1) = 3450 + 345 = 3795

345 x 22 = 2 x 345 x 11

I hope you got the idea.

there are only 22 last 2 digits of any number squared

ok so how does that help

well (a+b)*(a-b)=a^2-b^2

so

well 29*41

=35^2-6^2

ok but 35^2

well

is the reverse u should know 4*3=12

so 3.5^2=12.25

35^2=1225

therefore 29*41=1225-36=1189

what are the 22

in case you are able to bear in ideas numbers obtained from "communities," then sure, that's extremely conceivable. Say you like to locate the made of 18 and 12. you need to destroy that up into: 18*10=a hundred and eighty AND 18*2=36 then you certainly ought to easily upload those jointly to get 216, or a minimum of that's how I do it.

there are no shortcuts you have to learn and memorize the process.

If you aren't going to set your mind to mastering multiplication - understanding multiplication, division, percents, decimals, fractions, exponents, and negative numbers - then you might as well forget about math and plan on becoming an English or Philosophy major.
