Because skateboarding isn't considered to be a sport. It's more of a hobby or an X-Game.

because school is gay and thinks skateboardng is a destructive sport...even tho we dont "do" skateboarding at my school, we stil skate there and get 200 dollar fines, but at least skating keeps us away from drugs(at least sum of us)

skateboarding is not a traditional sport....learning is also just as important as sports...like spelling

Because they don't really have a forum for it...They don't build skate parks in schools or haven't because it's relatively new and quite frankly it has a negative reputation....
