Timbaland and Pharrell from N.E.R.D are the best. Kanye West isn't bad either. I like these three because they're willing to try new things with Rap and Hip-Hop rather than just the same old formula.
Jay-Z isn't bad - although I wish he hadn't inflicted Umbrella upon the world.
Diddy used to be great back in the day with 112 and Biggie, but now he's so commercial and uninteresting. His latest album was okay but it feels like he's following and not leading the pack these days.

Nowadays im thinking Timbaland. Ive never really liked P Diddy and i only like Jay Z coz of Beyonce.

Timbaland is better than the other 2, although I would say The Neptunes are way better for pop and r'n'b songs and Dre for hip-hop / rap.
P. Diddy is not good. He is only making money out of Biggie's work, but anyway.

That's a mediocre list, but by mainstream standards i guess it'll do.
Out of them all i'll have to pick timbaland, because he's the only real producer, the others do it as an aside. However they're producers of bubble gum rap and timbaland has crossed over to pop. Judas =(

Although Timbalands sound can be quite competitive,he's the best out of the one's you listed.

I agree that Tim is the best out of the guys you named, and that P Diddy is poo! But Jay Z? Lips like that are only good for sucking dick. Sorry.I can not stand the man.( I feel a violation coming on)!

Timberland is better by far...J only produces for certain people, he's not great...not bad either...
Stupid P Diddy...anyone can produce when you just sample tracks. Sampling tracks are for people who are getting into the industry, not for people who are already made in hip hop.
