The fancy dresses are some of the best finds at consignment and resale shops. Those kid's specialty clothes are only worn once or twice (or not at all) and it's too much of a shame to throw it away so people try to get some $ back by taking it in for resale. I would look there.

You may have to wait a month or two but, KOHL'S dept. store has a great selection of children's clothing at a resonable prices.. I just bought my children summer clothing for next yr. all for under $100... If you wait a couple weeks during the season you can get a dress or two for inexpensive... They are always having promotions/sales.. Get a credit card and save 10%-15% off your first purchase + receive special savings and promotions the rest of the year you can also combine KOHL'S cash promo's with 15% off coupons for even MORE savings !!!

Last Christmas my wife and I found some lovely dresses for our Grand-daughters in Woolworths of all places - but that was in England so if you are from the U.S.A or some other place that might not apply. Worth checking though.

Here's a nice site
http://my-littleblessings.com/
http://www.my-littleblessings.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=HFD07&Category_Code=SO
http://www.tuttibella.com/christmas-and-hannukah.html

These are american sites - however if you're from the UK, you should try Debenhams, and Marks and Spencer at christmas time, they have red velvet and white fur trimmed dresses.
