I watched it last night and really enjoyed it. A very gripping film.
What did you think?
My other question is about the note the Japanese girl gave to the detective after she tried to sleep with him, the one he put in his pocket. Did we find out what it said in the end? Because if we did I missed that bit. What did it say?

I thought it was a lot better then Crash. The story lines were more interesting.

i LOVED Babel - but then i knew i would before i even put it on. I loved the way the 3 stories connected - even if the japanese side was a little odd. If you liked Babel, try 21 grams - same style of inter-weaving stories but even more powerful and emotional (for me anyway!!)

Babel was a disappointment in some ways, it was disjointed, the action didn't really flow. I thought the idea was clever tracking the owners of the gun....but it just didn;t come together. I thought Cate Blanchett was wasted in it, such a small part for such a great actress. I thought Brad Pitt's character was under-explored also. I liked the ending. maybe needed better editing?

this is in production, under tight protection, guarded via yambots. My people have our techniques nonetheless and we've parts of the script under progression. Agent Arcool seeks the help of Dr Maniacal Mekter to help locate the infamous Wild Jude who has been luring youthful sheep into his basement lair the place he does -Censored- and then skins them on an identical time as speedier Lover blares interior the history it fairly is barely area of his greater desirable plan for international domination interior the direction of the determining to purchase and promoting of solutions factors he so shrewdly foresaw as having a globally acknowledged replace cost long formerly everybody else knew how powerful they could grow to be ... and that i in simple terms can no longer pass on...this is seems halfway interior the direction of the action picture the friendly traveller from Tau Seti is straped to a seat and his cranial compartment is accessed this is in simple terms too horrid to pass on. you will ought to anticipate the finished version to be released.

I really loved the film and found the segment of Chieko the Japanese girl the most powerful of the all the stories. According to Wikipedia some of the note has been translated as...
(n.b., "[EDGE]" indicates the end of that particular line on the notebook page): ". . . I wanted [EDGE] . . . myself [EDGE] . . . that's why [EDGE] . . . connected [EDGE] . . . that is [EDGE] . . . although I cannot [EDGE] . . . I have to find out [EDGE] . . . message from my mother [EDGE] . . . I was not sure if I was loved by my mother [EDGE] . . . but that's not the case . . . [EDGE] thank you."

Babel was just like Crash except without racism.
It was very mediocre.
