I dont think so. I am white and love my white friends and admire many others, but I also despise many white people. Having said that, the word despise is very strong .Maybe I mean despise the actions of many others. Unfortunately I do not have any friends from other races, and I think I may be missing out because of it. It has not been a concious act of not getting to know anyone from another culture. I just haven't had the opportunity. In general, I think there are good and bad in ALL cultures. It is just nature and part nuture, plus environment.

a racist screws people over from that race whenever they can. a prejudice person believes that nearly everyone from that race sucks. if you just think it, you're probably prejudice.
then again, if you despise black people because you think they all use drugs and YOU live in a building where all the people are black and use drugs, you're not pre-judging anything.
not a straight up answer, but something to get you closer. ask yourself why you hate the majority of them.

It means you judge and perceive groups based on generalisations, which says more about you than those so grouped and judged.
On what basis do you exclude those you call your friends that have their skin colour or ethnicity in common with the despised group, from the group?
Could it be that your views are derived from stereotypes, which, in the case of your friends, have proven to be false?
Your views contribute to the continuation of these stereotypes, and for the sake of your friends, out of respect for them, you should focus on our common humanity and question those assumptions on which you base your views.
Through establishing friendships with those of other races you overcame the first hurdle in evaluating individuals not on some superficial and naive criterion, such as race or culture, but on character and personality, as someone independent and unique, such as us all.
Although we are influenced by our personal and cultural context, we should not be done the injustice of being restricted to it by the thoughtless presumptions of others. We have a knack for simplification and generalisation, but when it comes to people, such abstractions are demeaning and false.
You cannot control or determine people’s outlooks and behaviour and judging them from your limited perspective is irresponsible. Rather focus on your own understanding, values and actions, as this is within your power to determine and change.
As onto me, so onto others, as onto others, so onto me. We can only justify what we feel or think entitled to through extending these rights to all.
If you wish to be evaluated or judged not on some superficial criterion, then neither should you so evaluate or judge others.

Are you really bothered? I do not see why you are asking the world, only you really know yourself?!
Stick with your friends that you care about and forget the people you do not like. I think you will be more happy and you will see that thinking like that is just silly.. besides..you have the right to feel how you like. That is what makes us human.

kinda...you shouldn't just bank them all together because they share the same colour. You should judge each person as and when you come into contact with them (maybe not literally).

if you hate all the black people you don't know then I guess you are in some respects racist.
My husband is black and you don't know him you must hate him right?
