nothing cause I don't drive yet, this spring I will be... But i have a funny story anyway, so my brother (24) was making a U, and he got pulled over. While we were waiting for the cop to come over he took off his seatbelt to look for his license and whatever. The cop came, ticked him for the U turn, and then also added on another one for driving without a seatbelt. we were like wtfff, but all we could do was laugh. so, the lesson here is to never take off your seatbelt, they will look for every little excuse they can find to give u another ticket.

I got pulled over for having a parking pass on my rear view mirror. The funny thing is... I got it when I went to visit the local jail and another cop gave it to me so I would have access to the underground parking.

I was pulled over on my way to work one day and I had no idea why. The cop asked for my driver's license, registration, and proof of insurance. He was really hateful too. I gave him the things he asked for and he said that my insurance was fake that he could tell me that right now. I said, " Well it shouldn't be I just came from paying them just a few minutes ago." He went back to his car and I waited and waited. He came back up and said," It would be in your best interest Ma'am if you get that tag on the back of your car fixed where it's not trying to fall off. That's why I pulled you over. I ran your tags and the computer couldn't find them and with them being loose like that I figured they had been stolen. Oh, and you do have insurance. I just called them and they confirmed that. That's not your fault. They are not supposed to write these up they are supposed to type them out. I called and told them and they said they wouldn't do it again." He then said that I needed to fix the license plate. I told him I couldn't because one of the screws had broken off inside and that's why only one screw was holding it on. He said, " Well, you need to go to a garage and get them to fix that." I wanted to say are you going to pay for it but decided that I would let it go. He made me so mad. He actually was accusing me of stealing tags and having fake insurance. I wanted to get his name and complain but I was so upset that I didn't. I also wanted to tell him to go on over to Walmart and explain to them why I was late. It was so embarassing. He had me cornered in the restaurant Ryan's parking lot and everybody was staring like I was some kind of criminal. I went to work and everybody was making fun of me saying that I was the one that had been stealing all the tags of the employee's in the parking lot. I said, " Yeah, that was me. I admit it." Oh, by the way I never got the license plate fixed. I figured I had drove that way for 5 years it wasn't going to matter if I fixed it. I ended up totalling the car about a year later so it didn't matter anymore anyway.

I got pulled over in Texas by a local cop that I was following because I was following too close... he kept slowing down, I kept gaining on him... I had out of state tags, he was looking for a reason to give me a ticket.

When someone stops short in front of you,and you crash into them, youll know why you shouldnt follow too close. As to your question; I was stopped in Texas for not having the proper inspection sticker. The problem was my car is from NY, and I didnt need their sticker.
