Oh so funny you should ask that, today of all days.
In the front of my mind for some years I have desperately wanted to study at university level. I completed a diploma at tafe in 1996 and went on to uni but left after 6 months without thinking it through properly. I should never have left. Years later I have nearly completed a course at certificate level at tafe and want to go back and get that degree. I want it so bad but it's so much more complicated now. I have a child with special needs as well as poor health as well as a husband who does not support or understand my desire to study. Full time would not be an option and even part time (juggling with work and childcare) is going to be dambed near impossible. I feel so passionate about getting that degree and I am so frustrated. I want to do so much more and I know I can. I survived some horrendous things as a child and therefore have always struggled a bit academically. But I have a dream and I want to achieve it but for the reasons listed about and for so many more, like the learning problems I have included, make it so so hard. But I know when I look back at say 70, what I will wish I had done is exactly this, study. I want it so bad I can nearly touch it but how do I actually get there with so many challenges.
That, my friend, is what I want in this moment, in past moments and for every moment of the future.
