And consider them animals? My family are strict Islamists and I was brought up to hate anyone who wasnt of my faith- I remember we were out shopping one day and my Father saw a man with a beard of Asian origin and said "salom ali ***"- when the man didnt understand my Father called him a kafoor and stormed off.
I am now at University and have managed to free myself from this brainwashing- however other Muslims studying here ,confide in me how much they hate the west and the people here??
My thoughts are that if someone is good to you ,doesnt do any harm to others -they are a good person.

You are spot on my love.you sound like a very together person.you must be able to think for yourself,if you are poisoned and brainwashed by anyone,then you are not thinking and evalluating life for yourself.It is a sad fact,that ,as you say,you virtually have no freedom of choice to make your own mind up.I have friends of many races and religions,i treat them as they treat me,with respect and civility.Anything else defiles the person or religion who practises hate indoctrination.You can easily brainwash the mentally weak and characterless masses.

I think thy feel undervlaued and misunderstood ~ the west judges them on how they behave here which is not impressive but in their own countries~ they seem to live amicably enough
They just dont mix well with non believers here

i am muslim too but, i don't hate others who are not muslims .
in Islam there is freedom in religions and everyone free to practise his religion , and to hate others who are not muslims and deal badly with them is out of our religion.
If your family do this,your family is wrong .
