do you think they will sue all those who have slandered them baselessly? Just for the sake of justice and the misery caused to them by this 2nd crime against them?

you know I thought about this too. I think they may, I think they may start a charity for missing kids from the proceeds. That's what I would do. They needn't be involved in the day to day stuff, just use their name to amass a decent sized amount of money so that anyone in the same position, a missing child, and unable to work, but needing help with accommodation, food etc. can survive. I had a sad thought a few minutes ago. I wonder if the real perpetrator of this crime is found, confesses, leads the authorities to Madeleine the hate mob that make up this witch hunt will still say it is Gerry and Kate McCann and spend all their time twisting the facts to suit their hate.

I think they should be paid compensation by the over zealous PJ's.

The PJ's case seems to be losing strength by the hour, let alone the day.

Now they are asking British Police to "raid" the McCanns house, collect the Laptop and help investigate. Bit ODD if you ask me. They are clutching at straws and hoping a more professional , experienced Police force may find something concrete.

Also, noted another little girl, 8yrs old called joana, disappeared from the Luz area 3 yrs ago. Never been found.

Vile Vile Vile ... I swear never to go to Portugal again, although I found it a beautiful place on earth, very picturesque and friendly, I am fearful that if I ever need the police there things would go wrong.

Intestingly, I read a posting about Lindy Chamberlain and quite a few Australians wrote in and said they still considered her to be guilty of murdering her baby, no matter what the courts decided. Too many people say there's no smoke without fire.
So yes, I would sue if I was in their shoes. However, it would probably need Madeleine McCann to turn up to shut the nastiness up. If this goes on for years, and it could, then there will always be doubt and speculation.

The trouble is that once they are shown as Innocent the media will give it 'we knew this all the time & we never doubted them'

The media should be ashamed of what they are doing along with others I could mention.

I hope they sue for slander and defamation of character

Who is speculating now? I would question how some one is so sure that they are innocent. Do you know something we don't know?

Faith I am not trying to be cruel by all means but those are the same questions that many of us have gotten regarding our thoughts and beliefs with this case. It is pure speculation to think they are going to be proven innocent as much as it is pure speculation they are going to be proven guilty. There are so many people that believe that are so sure they are innocent so I would have to question whether they maybe know what really happened that night? Where were they on the night of May 3 since they are so sure? (Hasnt this been said about Dave S and others)

Murat deserves to be paid compensation by over zealous pj to I guess.

You don´t prove people innocent, you prove them guilty, that is British law
Many people on here only want justice as they know it. They have them hung before a jury is sworn in.
