Would a bullet explode if you swallowed it? I'm guessing the sharp point will tear you up and kill you even if the bullet stays in one piece, but would the bullet go off? The metal would dissolve in the stomach acid, wouldn't it?

The bullet will not expolde, you willhave a bad case of the stomach ache. Reason: two things are required to make an expolsion, heat and confide space. Another waords. The expolsion is caused by expanding an area. The powder from bullet have to expand with burning. If the metal melts, then there will just WET powder in your stomach. Besides, your acid in yourstomach is not enough to melt the metal.

No. To induce an explosion, there is a need for high heat or the back of the bullet to be struck. That is the trigger for the chemical substances inside the shell to mix and cause the head to fire off.
