Is anyone able to translate the corresponding Portuguese article, this is one of the front page headlines in Portugal today. Sky news showed it briefly and said they'll use the diary to create a psychological profile of Kate. Oh and she insults her children in the diary too. Don't know if it's just 'oh, sean and amelie were quite naughty today' or something much more sinister.

She is a Career Woman not a natural Mother.She had said this kind of thing about Madeleine.I can't understand how This Couple managed to create all this trouble for their selves.All they had to do was take care of their 3 children whilst they were on a family holiday.Being on holiday in a foreign country is a lot different than being on Holiday in England ! They were asked to guard their children more closely.They were advised that they could hire babysitters and were offered these facilities.They disregarded this advice.They are Doctors who advise people all the time,but they are Human and sometimes in want of advice their selves ,this is something they need to recognize in the future .They are not above the Law they seem to think that everyone is now going to contribute to their legal fund , to solve this problem that they have further created by deciding to become Official suspects.It is known as dropping oneself in it !

I can't translate - sorry - but there are more leaks from the investigation into the Portugese press then in a leaky roof....
There must be intention from the police for these facts to reach the public domain. There must be a reason for this.
Personally I don't feel that a diary is likely to be reliable - if the parents are guilty they are hardly likely to write down what they did - the McCanns are not that stupid. However the diary may help the police to see whether their statements on their movements are reliable which might help in a search for her body (if, as the Portugese police believe - that they buried her body).
I am suprised that the Portugese did not impound the car.
Read yesterday that the recent roadworks by the local church in Priaia de Luz may be re-excavated.
How sad this business is. I hope they find her body so at least there is more evidence to find out who is really responsible. I hope even more that she is still alive - but feel that is now unlikely.

A diary is a silly way to create a psychological profile of a person...
A diary is written to be read ONLY by the writer.
Most of what is in a diary are random thoughts which don't really reflect the writer's true state of mind at all...thats the main reason why it is kept private. Random thoughts may reflect observations around one & not of one's own mind.
Would love to know how SKY got the rumour of Kate "insulting" her babies...
Wouldn't this be confidential to the investigation?
