Yahoo news stories do almost always have a liberal slant, espically the ones that are displayed on the little window as you sign into Yahoo messanger. I came across your question as I was also searching for other people who felt that Yahoo, more than Google, tends to put anti-Republican and anti-conservative stories and opinions at the top of its pages. Personally, I use google news as my homepage because I feel that you can personalize it more and get a more stories that don't read as though they were written by Nancy Pelosi.

Yahoo republishes news sources from several independent reporting agencies. They don't have their own news reporters gathering stories or writing articles. Read the by-lines on the articles. They're all written by AP, Reuters, BBC, Knight-Ridder and other third-party reporting service. Yahoo publishes all the articles that these companies release. So, don't blame Yahoo because the only news being written happens to go against your political preferences.

Are you talking of a search engine like Google or are you talking about a home page? If you are talking about a homepage, I suggest, netflex.com.

Yahoo! news headlines do not always have a liberal slant to them, unless you consider "liberal" to be synonymous with the "truth".
This is a current Yahoo! news headline: "Indonesia hit by second powerful quake". I fail to see how that is liberal in any way shape or form.
