yes indeed. and you dont have to be old to have this happen to you. I was a teen ager the first time this happened. I remember I had planned on getting something out of the pantry, but when I got there, I had completely forgotten what it was i was looking for. So I returned to the same room in which I had been, then I remembered what it was I was wanting, and got it. I find that if a person retraces their steps, then that which they have forgotten will pop back into their head. The same thing applies for saying things to. just retrace your train of thought

Yes, definitely. I have also walked into a room and totally forgot why I was going in there.

Oh yeah ... a lot. My son says they're 'brain farts' ... lol, sounds appropriate.

I was reading Reader's Digest ~ a part called "Life's Like That". In the article an elderly gentleman said he was downstairs, and his elderly wife went down to get something ... then totally forgot what it was she went down there for. Her hubby, not wanting her to feel awful for how bad her memory was getting ... looked at her and said "Who the hell are you?!" I thought that was sooo cute.

Yep .. we certainly don't have to be up there in age to have 'brain farts' ... it happens to me wayyyy to much. :)

Yep. Boy do I hate that! Only to be driving myself crazy trying to remember what it was that I forgot in the first place. :)
