Buy your own razors and shave! Refusing to let you shave at 14 is a control issue your mom has. There is no parental benefit for this! Does she think if she lets you shave you'll sleep with the football team? Geeze-you're not gonna be a baby forever! Besides, they are your legs & she'll get over it!

Let your Mum read what I have to say.
I too am a Mum. I raised 3 girls and DAM!! it was tough. I would not wish that on any one on this earth. BUT--- We all have to let go sooner or later. If we keep them behind bars forever, they will never learn. The shaving is really a good thing. It shows that they are concerned about their hygiene
and that is a really good thing. Keeping them pinned up will only make them want to do it more and more. Give them a little freedom in a small amount of time. Let them know that you trust their judgement. After all you did raised them. They should have good judgement, right? You did give that to them right? I gave my dauts permission to wear make up, actually insisted that they wear it. None of them will wear it. They are beauties whan they wear make up. Think about this note. It really does work.
Good luck Mum and Dad.

Tell your mum about the hygiene consequences of not shaving and that in today's society it is simply not acceptable to be unshaven. Ask her "would you rather me be teased, taunted and harassed at school for not having shaved rather than let me shave?" And also let her read all the answers that people have written here. They need to let go.

Good luck honey

Sweetie your mom is not wrong (even if u don't understand it yet.)
The later u start shaving - i 'd suggest waxing- the better. The hair is blonde so it doesn't look that bad I guess. Be patient. Maybe she wants you to have a laser depilation later!
This goes for your legs...For underarms buy a razor NOW!

Secretly shaving is not the answer. What are you going to say when they notice? (and mums always do). Have you asked when it will be acceptable? Do u have to wait till your 18?
As another tactic try asking your mum to teach you how to shave. Invovle her. Maybe as a girly "im growing up" thing. They have to accept that you are becoming a young lady.

the upper lip hair i wouldnt remove just yet... its not worth it because theyll grow back thicker and more visible... but if its bugging u that much as ur mum if u can get them bleached so theyll be lighter.... regarding you legs... ask her why she wont let you? and tell her you feel uncomfortable having hairy legs. tell her you are already a teenager and should begin to take care of urself. dont argue just try to reason with her. if she tells u that theyll grow back thicker.. ask her if she prefares that u wax them.. although i think u might be a wee bit young for waxing... or else use some hair removal cream... like veet-in-shower which is a wash off :) tell her ur willing to try a test patch first to see if u get any allergic reactions... goodluck!

tell her that it is disgusting since everyone in p.e. is shaved and you are not. tell them it is a health issue when you sweat! Lol and if they still do not let then just shave because 14 years old is a little old to not have shaved yet! good luck! =]

Oh dear....that does sound unreasonable....is it armpit hair you are worried about mostly? To be honest if you arten't willing to go behind their back there's nothing you can do.
I shouldnt say this....but I would have just gone off and done it! It's your body and at 15 you are old enough to look after it.
