Have you ever blamed it on the dog? And if so, are you now ashamed?

Sometimes I blame things on the dog but only when I'm joking around. For instance when I would do a silient deadly fart I would say "pickles what did you eat?". Also when I was younger and I would do something I shouldn't have done, I would tell my parents "the dog told me she wanted me to do this in a dream". My dogs are spoiled so I really don't feel bad; we have a mutual understanding.

i always blame the dog, but then i bust out laughing. especially if it's really rank! what's to be ashamed of?

We don't have a dog but if we did, how could I look
into the eyes of that sweet innocent dog and say he/she

No but I use to tell my middle son that girls didn't fart and I would always blame it on his dad or one of his brothers. When he was about five I farted and it was quite obvious that it was me. He looked at me with utter disdain and yelled, "You LIED...girls do fart." It was like I destroyed all the trust he had ever had in me. lol. Poor kid, I'm not sure if he's ever recovered.

That was the ONLY reason for me to even OWN a dog in the first place,,,,I often say,,"BAD DOG! BAD DOG! Every time that I am flatulent.
