birth control pill help?

i'm on a low dose birth control pill to prevent recurring ovarian cysts. Could it possible that i can still ovulate while on the pill and get ovarian cysts because its a low dose pill?

The pill takes over ovulation but sometimes even in spite of the effort to try and keep cysts down they can still occur. I would recommend contacting your doctor as well for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on.
