I used to wet shave (Gillette) but I got sick of cutting myself so witched to an electric shaver (Remington R7, £120 in Argos but £60 on Amazon!). The electric shaver leaves my skin a little drier, but that is easily sorted with other prodcuts (aftershave balm, moistouriser). Where as I used to get away with shaving only one in three days with the wet Gillette, I have to shave every day with the Remington, but shaving is a lot faster and easier so it's not a problem. And I don't cut myself any more!

Dry power shaver does make your skin dark, stiff and gives it a lifeless look whn used on a daily basis. The better option is wet power shaver, and the best is a Gillette Mach-3 razor with shaving foam... followed by a cool after shave lotion (choose from the non-alcohol ones).
Hope this is of some help to you dear!

You can try using an electric razor, because it is less harsh but you won't get a close shave. If not, use slow strokes with the razor, and only go in the direction of the hair growth. There are some razors that vibrate while you shave, which stimulate the hair folicle creating a smooth shave, and that can help as well.

Shaving your hair rapidly may make it grow faster.
It is no harm using a dry electric shaver unless you get it wet with water ^^
Good luck !

Electric Shaver is not good for skin. Some sort burns are possible. It makes skin rough. But it is most convenient while on travel and fast. For close and healthy shaving ordinary razor blade shave is best,if you have time and patience.
