yes. i celebrated my bday yesterday and since i am independent i really felt so alone. my family is in the province, 7 hours away from me. it even rained heavily, it added to my solitude.

so i decided to get out when the rain took a slight stop, and went out for groceries. i passed by people who are living on the streets, struggling in a crowded place not get wet. then i realized, i should be happy! i have a place to stay, a place to shelter me from the rain and a job to keep me going. i feel so blest with what i have which sometimes i consider ain't enough.

i remember the saying " i cry because i have no shoes, until i saw a man who has no feet."

Even though you say your depressed you seem to have your head on the right track career wise, you have faith, your grateful(humble), and people like you. Some people are depressed you can't really see it because a lot of people hide it with a smile and not everyone needs to know. Everyone wants others to think there ok or doing well. you seem kind of guarded by saying you don't let people in. everyone needs someone to talk things out with, you know this because your other people's got to person. When you say a guy will slow you down that's what I use to think. I never dated in HS I had friends and was even asked out I just want interested in them. I have been dating the same guys for almost 3yrs he hasn't slowed me down. The wrong guy will slow you down but not every guy. Don't worry about your other friends wanting to get married it doesn't mean you have too or should right now. I don't want to get married right now i'm 21 I'm not ready lol. like people say you'll just know when your ready. The right guy will understand you. You seem fine everyone gets down you have a lot of great things don't focus on the bad (sometimes you just have to let ish go). Don't worry about others and you didn't come across wrong

Yes, there's always someone out there who has it worse off than you do. But I love helping people, so my feelings don't really matter..I just like to help others feel better any way I can.
