what the heck are these gifts that yahoo send people? what is the criteria? did i miss the memo??? i dont get it?
i want free stuff too!!!!!

I read that in an answer once, about totes and light bulbs. I thought the person was joking. We can really get free stuff?

Just stick with Yahoo! Answers little lady. If they give gifts you will get yours. Actually they have given gifts to promote the web site and to say thank-you to all the participants.
Level 7s got a beautiful Outer Boundaries Fleece Jacket with
Level 7, ask me anything embroidered on the Jacket. Lower levels got lesser gifts like a baseball cap or something. I think I will take a picture of one or two of the gifts with my web cam and put it either on my 360 blog or Youtube so you can see them. I will email you after I do this. It may be a day or two. Just check you email from time to time. I'll let you know. But I don't know if they will be giving gifts like this in the future or not. There are so many folks on Yahoo! Answers that just giving a small gift can run into very large amounts of money.

Well if that's the criteria..it's not fair:
1. I'm a US citizen.
2. I do not live in the continental US.
3. Since Yahoo is worldwide..shouldn't some of these free stuff apply to a WORLDWIDE CORPORATION?

A while back YA had a thing where you sign up and they would send a tote bag and a new compact light bulb to people. It was tied into their Environmental category. I never got my bag or bulb though.
It told about it on your profile page in that YA ad square that usually has the moving pictures on it. I guess keep checking that square for future giveaways, although I don't think they have them too often.

I got a nice book bag (carrier...could be used for many things)....I read if u answered a question in the "green" section they would send u a free bag...I answered it, and they sent it to me. I also got a free energy saving lightbulb sent to me. I don't know how I got that.....
