I own a trailer and it goes with the club in case we have a breakdown. so far, it was used only once, and that for a flat tire. course, I suppose if we all rode hondas, we wouldn't need a trailer since their tires never go flat, right?

Harley Riders have trailers to carry all the Babes in, that want to ride on a Harley. If you don't believe me, ask any Woman what she would rather ride on, a Harley or another brand. I have to get my rest now, all these Women are killing me, and the trailer is still full.

The ones that do have trailers travel a lot for work, You need a truck to carry your tools so you can't ride just your bike so you put it on a trailer so you can take it with you, so when you get to where you are going you are able to ride your bike where ever you want and when ever you want. Not everybody that owns a Harley has a trailer. Sounds like your jealous because you can't afford a Harley.

I've now owned 4 harleys, this one is an 04 Fatboy.......never had a problem with it other than a bulb or two. My first was a 79 superglide, in which one night tooling down a two lane divided highway, I bent a front exhaust valve......replaced it with bronze guides and solid lifters and it ran like a champ until I sold it to a collecter.....it was the last of the 1200 series.
I can safely say that Harleys today are one of the best made bikes available......I ride everyday, rain or shine, hot or cold, and my bike hasn't let me down....other than speeding tickets.

thats funny.I have a harley and no trailer,in fact I have had no problems with any of the harleys I've ridden.

I have one and I don't have a trailer. nor do my other 5 friends who have harleys. so your question is faultly and is making a generilzation. This would be like me saying Why do all people who ask a question on yahoo answers ask the same stupid question 50 times a day? this statement is not true because not all people who ask a question as the same question. This is probablly why no one answered your question. Because you where making the assumption that everyone who owns a harley has a trailer.
