Everybody keep saying that that the patriots cheated. Cheated what? WHATS GOING ON?

Defensive players don't have wallkie-talkies in their helmets like quarterbacks and therefore must rely on hand signals from the coaches to know what plays to run. The Patriots had a guy who was doing nothing but videotaping those signals so that the coaches could look at them and know what the defense was going to do. This is cheating.

They were video recording the hand signals from the defensive coach in between play's
It gives them the opportunity to go back and figure out what the signals mean.
and if they do that it gives them an edge over the defense
PLUS its against NFL Rules to use a Video device on the side line or in the coaches box.

Terry, how does knowing what the hand signals are and what the defense is going to do NOT help you win? You are either a Patriots fan or a complete idiot that knows nothing about football....but dont worry the two go hand in hand.

apparently an employee from the pats, was caught video taping defense hand signals from the opposing team. Now how they got caught is something I don't know....Yet.

they did something that every team in the NFL does, tried to steal signals. i understand that it is cheating, but honestly, we all know that it goes on and it has for years, so for people to be upset now is kind of funny. if its such a big deal why didnt coaches say something years ago instead of covering their mouths with play cards to communicate plays? only thing that makes them different is that they got caught!

They illegally video taped the oppositions play signs. Plain and simple. And from what i can gather, that is a no no. Imagine that, with all the technology we have today that is illegal. Go figure.

They made most football fans question their previous championships . that's what they did bad. now i am not sure of what i think about their 3 superbowls. not sure

Apparently, an assistant coach taped the Jets coaches hand signals during the game...Supposedly, this gave the Pats an advantage during the game...Yeah, right...
