I'm looking into building my own chopper fames but i nees to know how to get a M,S,O so i can get a vin number on it. i live in michagin can anyone help?

In Missouri you have to take it to the Highway Patrol troop headquarters in that area. They will inspect it to make sure it meets legal requirements and if you have anything with ID numbers, check to make sure they aren't stolen. So if you have bought or will buy a Harley engine for it, better have the serial number checked. Engines aren't titled, but on some bikes, some of the engine numbers correspond with the engine serial number.

Contact the DMV. They will be your best bet to figuring out what you have to do. You could also try to contact a company that does make their own frames but they might not be helpful because that would be encouraging the competition.
