The answer to that would be no.

I'm more of an illustrator, actually---I know most don't appreciate the distinction, but there is one. What I make has absolutely no deep meaning at all. It is meant simply to be funny(Like Bobo's caricature, done very hastily today to post for him) or pretty to look at(Quella Bella's Mucha-inspired). At my best I manage a nice tribute(Serafim's Jacques-Louis David inspired mythological figure).

I actually had been away from art for a great while, so am rather rusty, but having been talked back into working regularly, have been posting frequently the last few weeks. Thank you for your nice thoughts. :)

I was so impressed, and a bit jealous. I want to commission a painting of my horse. Not a portrait, my impression. I would have to pour my heart out, and show them pictures of my Jackson. I might want to be Lady Godiva. It will be in my bedroom.
Edit: Why Paducah? I am from Al. and spent considerable time in that neck of the woods. That is close to where the Native Americans started splitting tribes to break from the Trail of Tears.
You captured the essence of the Bonsai Bobbie I have come to know through email, and the mixed media is perfect for a mind who perceives art through the purple haze of the '60's. I mean that in the most respectful way. You are gifted.

I don't know so much about art, but I love Jack's art. He is a true artist.
